In U.S. dollars, third quarter revenue was $33.1 billion, which increased 40.8% year-over-year. Gross margin for the quarter was 59.5% (1.7 percentage points higher than 3Q24), operating margin was 50.6% (3.1 percentage points better than 3Q24), and net profit margin was 45.7%. Nvidia Shines in Second Quarter of Fiscal 2026

Total revenue increased 56% from the year-ago period, to $46.74 billion (consensus was at $46.13 billion), with Data Center revenue of $41.1 billion advancing by a similar clip, the latter coming in slightly below the consensus estimate of $41.29 billion. In the quarter, consolidated revenue came in at NT$933.79 billion, net income was NT$398.27 billion, and diluted earnings per share was NT$15.36 (US$2.47 per ADR unit). On a year-over-year basis, second quarter revenue increased 38.6%, while net income and diluted earnings per share both increased 60.7%. First quarter revenue increased 41.6% year-over-year, while net income and diluted earnings per share advanced 60.3% and 60.4%, respectively. Consolidated revenue was NT$839.25 billion ($25.53 billion), net income came in at NT$361.56 billion, while diluted earnings per share was NT$13.94 (US$2.12 per ADR unit). Nvidia Reports Better Than Expected First Quarter Results

By Brian Nelson, CFA On May 28, Nvidia (NVDA) reported better than expected first-quarter fiscal 2026 results with revenue and non-GAAP earnings per share coming in higher than the consensus forecasts. Revenue increased 69% from the year-ago period thanks to strength in Data Center revenue, which was up 73% from a year ago. Gaming revenue was a record $3.8 billion, up 42% from a year ago. Professional Visualization revenue was up 19% from a year ago, while first quarter Automotive revenue was up 72% from last year. The company reported consolidated revenue of NT$868.46 billion, net income of NT$374.68 billion, and diluted earnings per share of NT$14.45 (US$2.24 per ADR unit) in the fourth quarter of 2024. On a year-over-year basis, fourth quarter revenue increased 38.8%, while net income and diluted earnings per share both increased 57%. In U.S. dollars, fourth quarter revenue was $26.88 billion, up 37% on a year-over-year basis and at the high end of management’s guidance. In the quarter, consolidated revenue came in at NT$759.69 billion, net income was NT$325.26 billion while diluted earnings per share was NT$12.54 (US$1.94 per ADR unit), all coming in ahead of expectations. On a year over year basis, revenue grew 39%, while net income and diluted earnings per share increased 54.2%. On a sequential basis, revenue advanced 12.8%, while net income leapt 31.2% higher.
