Newsletter portfolio changes
Boeing (BA): We added the top-performing stock in the Dow Jones Industrial Average in 2017 to the Dividend Growth Newsletter portfolio in January of this year at $168.44 per share. Shares have simply surged, and we’re not exaggerating. We’re removing half of the position today at $243.85. Please access Boeing’s stock page at the following link for more information:

Gilead Sciences (GILD): To both the Best Ideas Newsletter portfolio and Dividend Growth Newsletter portfolio, we are adding Gilead Sciences, a 2% position in both newsletter portfolios at $76.32. Please access Gilead’s stock page at the following link for more information:
Altria (MO): What a fantastic run Altria’s shares have had since they were added to the Best Ideas Newsletter portfolio and the Dividend Growth Newsletter portfolio many moons ago. Though we’re not making a big deal about the new focus of the FDA regarding nicotine (regulation has always been a large part of the tobacco business), we do think that it is time to take some off the table. We’re removing half of the position in both newsletter portfolios at $65.23. Please access Altria’s stock page at the following link for more information:
In case you missed our latest study on the Valuentum Buying Index ratings, you can access it here. In the study, we cover a lot of ground, including a background on factor-based investing, an extension of the work in the arithmetic of active management, and a number of concerns about data practices and applications, in addition to the focal point of the paper, the Valuentum Buying Index (the value-timing and ultra-momentum factors). If you have any questions, please just let me know. Thank you!
